RED TIE - "TRENCADIS" - GAUDÍ

Designed and hand-crafted in Barcelona, this red tie is decorated with a silk-screen printing which reminds the "trencadís" (small ceramic broken pieces) used by the assistant of Antoni Gaudí, Josep Maria Jujol, for various works of the Catalan architect, such as the Park Güell undulating bench (Barcelona 1900-1914), to which belongs the star motive reproduced on it.

Trencadís: Decorative technique used by Gaudí, which consists of covering a surface with irregular pieces of ceramic, glass or marble to create a mosaic of colors.
